    Looking For Box Tops!! Our class is trying to earn Hoot the Owl for the month of April. Please send in any Box Tops you have around the house! Secret Number is 2. Curriculum Highlights: Reading: We will continue to work on our Greek Mythology unit, focusing on character traits, comparing and contrasting, and theme. We will also be practicing our MCAS test taking skills. Math: We are beginning a unit on fractions, decimals, and percent starting on Tuesday.. Writing: We will continue reviewing all genres of writing and techniques to get ready for our long composition. We will also be reviewing and practicing different parts of speech in lieu of spelling the next two weeks. Social Studies: We are working on group presentations for the South Region. We will be teaching the class about a specific topic about the region. Science: The students will begin their next unit of study on magnetism.
