Honor Your Parents Part 2

March 9-March 15, 2014

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

Honor is one step beyond obedience.

God,

Abraham and Sarah had waited a long time to have a son. Now
they had Isaac. Then God tested Abrahams faith and ask him to
sacrifice Isaac to Him. Because Abraham had such faith in God
and because Isaac obeyed and honored his father, they began
the journey. But just as Abraham was about to kill his son, an
angel of God stopped him. Now God knew that Abraham was
committed to Him with all his heart. Genesis 21, 22

I worship You with all my heart. I want to know You

by reading Your Word, listening to You, going to church,
and being willing to forgive others. Thank You for good
teachers and help me to choose good friends. Help me
to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I
will live a long life on the earth. Bless Pastor Ron and his
family with strength and grace. Help me to look for ways
to bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am
healed and whole.
