    I saw a woman incapable of love. As at cock crow I awoke, To honor a so costly appointment, I met a lady, incapable of love.

    I would have wanted to blame her for lack of affection, But I know only too well That all this was the doing of a man. A man that failed to smother her with affectionMaking her lose faith in love. What makes me even sadder, Is my being a man and The bitterness with which She beheld me. I shall forever pity that little pretty girl That shall forever pay For the sins of her papa.
