BACKGROUND
Named Gaius Julius Caesar Born July 100 B.C Died 15 March 44 BC Played a pivotal role in the development of the Roman Republic into the empire

MILITARY EXPERIENCE
Grew up in a period of Civil unrest in Rome. First posting was a military assistant to a provincial governor Learned that War is very politically and financially profitable Used different methods of military communication and ciphers.

DICTATORSHIP
Became the governor of Gaul in 58 B.C Spent most of his time conquering other territories Gaul attempted to rise against Caesar and was then defeated. Caesar was declared Dictator for life in 45 B.C

DEATH
Caesar was killed on the 15th of March 44 B.C due to the uneasy feelings of the people he ruled over, his empire was split between his supporters and his opposers. Was formally Deified after assassination
