Television Advertisement- Smiler A conversion from cartoon to real life gives off an affect that the ride is so good

that it is almost unreal. 1st person recordings are used so that it is as if you are in the ride yourself giving you a feeling for the ride. Close ups are used to show the expression on the faces of the people riding the ride which will indicate how good it is. Extreme close up is used on the persons eye where there is a reflection of the rides flashing lights. Cross fading is used when purple smoke appears, it cross fades onto a recording of smoke coming out of a mans face which adds to the unreal nature of the ride. -Usually last 20-30 seconds, shows a conflict and a resolution very quickly. -Speaker talking about the product exaggerates speech and talks about the product in a convincing way. -The product being advertised is the focal point; everything is based around the product. -Most important bits are spoken about, un-necessary information should be left out as advert is very short, has to get the point across. -A famous/well known person could be shown in the advert, makes it easier to remember and grabs the audiences attention. -Humour makes it enjoyable.
