    TOWER CONTROL OFFICERS - LAUTOKA (1 position) SCOPE As Tower Control Officers will responsible for the VHF Radio

    controlling vessel traffic and safety within the port area. The position will be responsible to Harbour Master Lautoka for the allocation of duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operates the VHF Radio in control tower to route vessel traffic in the port and safety regulations. Observes approaching vessel and assist the pilot for vessel docking and wharf attendant personnel. Receive and transmits orders through VHF Radio To book all vessels and log all movements of each vessel. Ensure that communications regarding vessel movements are accurate. To ensure that the VHF Radio is ready for use at all times.

    REQUIREMENTS A certificate in VHF Radio Training.
