Simple Past Tense


We use the past simple to talk about completed actions or situations in the past:

For regular verbs, we usually form the past simple by adding ed, however: For verbs that end in e, we add d.

This is a little list of some irregular verbs in English.. Of course, there are many others, but these are the more common irregular verbs.
