Unit/Module
A unit or module is a theme that we will be covering with Mrs. Nallos class. Our chosen theme will the in the subject of social studies with the topic of the American Revolution. We are both extremely excited to be focusing on such an interesting part of our Nations history. During our pre-visit days in March, we caught just a glimpse of where the children are at in their social studies class. They were writing about Paul Revere and his life. We currently planning to get the children actively involved in learning about the beginning frameworks of the United States and how history has shaped the Nation. While we are with Mrs. Nallos class for the three weeks we will also being teaching language arts/reading, mathematics, and science. Provided throughout our newsletter we have listed several helpful webpages and books according to our unit or module. This is a very exciting time for us!
