Literary Criticism reading journal #2: Plot, Theme, and Style

Imagine your literary criticism novel is a restaurant. You need to name

the restaurant, then come up with at least five menu items that are
suitable to be served in it. Design a menu on which to display your
restaurant name and the menu items. Follow these instructions:

1. Choose a name for the restaurant that could be an appropriate

alternate title
for the novel. On the back, write an ASSI style explanation for the
name.

2. Choose menu items that identify pivotal events in the plot, or that
demonstrate understanding of a theme or aspect of style.

3. Write a description for each menu item that illustrates its

connection to the
text. Don’t forget to include a picture.

4. Decorate your menu so it is appealing.
