Week 7 Asmt 4
Diversity and Inclusion Program (DIP)

In order to comply with current legislation regarding unethical behaviors in the workplace. BGC will be developing a diversity and inclusion program that we will call DIP. Based on the organizational makeup of this organization we will create a DIP team to develop, implement, and analyze the program. We will be looking for an outside individual to champion the program who specializes in the diversity and inclusion process. The development of this program will create an environment that is involved in continuous learning of understanding what the process will entail. Further learning will be created to improve employees empathy and tolerance to others who may be different. We will provide workshops and certifications based on promoting well-being, justice, ethics, humility, courage, optimism, and compassion. As part of the initiative, we will also include training employees and making them familiar with certain legislation that is critical to creating an effective business.

The development of DIP and implementation will include community, human resources, management, and Cornell Universitys ILR School. The Benefit from a powerful blend of interactive, proven adult learning methods and techniques including presentations, lectures, case studies, role plays, and simulations - all exclusively designed based on your systems and goals (Cornell University, 2013). Blending this unique team of individuals will be critical to the implementation and success of this process. The following individuals will be included in the process to ensure the partnership creates the desired results. This will include a diverse group of

Based on the statistics a small group of individuals will work with Cornell to formulate the best programming to provide the best programing that will align with the organizational goals and partnerships. The process will provide training for these individuals as well in Building a solid foundation for moving forward with your organizational initiatives by outlining staff expectations, creating a focus for your teams growth, and building the capabilities of your team (Cornell University, 2013). As we are dealing with a varied group of individuals, the systematic approach should reflect that. Some of the things that the organization has done in the past has been not limited to taking on the same approach that we use with our clients. This includes

creating games, songs, and other creative outside of the box programs. We believe that many of the offerings through Cornell University will be able to provide that unique style of learning throughout our partnerships.

The obstacles that may occur in this venture are not limited to funding issues as well as time constraints. Some of the difficulties that have been overcome in the past has been around consistent funding of training and development. However, in this particular adventure training in development will be an essential part of the time collaborative initiative funds that have been procured for the next three years. If we prove the success of this partnership with the implementation of DIP there would be an extension of the program funding beyond the three years.
