Harvesting Minds and Growing our Community...

June/July 1 2009

Several years ago, the campus drew up a plan to enhance the beauty and use of the beautiful green plaza located behind PADM and between PSCI and the Trinkle Building. The brick walkway was installed to provide a relaxing and ecient walkway between Trinkle and PSCI. The project has now taken a giant step forward with the Plant City SGAs purchase and installation of two gazebos, which border the walk and which invite students, faculty, and sta to pause and enjoy the plazas beauty. Congratulations to our SGA and our new Student Activities Advisor, Megan Patrono, on these great additions to the campus!

She is Megan Patrono, and she comes to HCC from the happiest place on Earth: Walt Disney World! Megan has a great deal of experience not only in Student Services, but also in event planning, budget, management, and having fun. She has hit the ground running - she runs in her spare time, too - and is getting to know our students and making plans for a great new year of student activities. Please say hi the next time you visit Student Services!
