THE FEDERAL RESERVE TRANSPARENCY ACT OF 2009

WHEREAS: Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke has refused to specifically identify to Congress
those who have received over $12 trillion in funds and loan guarantees from the Federal Reserve via its
unconstitutional emergency powers and programs.

WHEREAS: The responsibility for knowingly allowing the Fed to manipulate our nation's monetary and
credit systems in almost complete secrecy rests solely upon those in Congress. Such utter lack of
oversight leads to corruption, unlawful market manipulation, inflation of the money supply, and a lower
quality of life for every American.

WHEREAS: HR 1207/S 604, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act and the Federal Reserve Sunshine
Act respectively, in their un-amended form would require a complete audit of the Federal Reserve for the
first time in its history (96 years), and would provide answers to the American people about how their
money is being spent.

THEREFORE: As your constituent, I instruct you to immediately co-sponsor and support HR 1207/ S 604
as written. Any amendments to this Act would undermine the oversight responsibilities of Congress to
their constituents.
