The Burj Dubai Project will be the tallest structure ever built by man; when completed the tower

will be more than 700 meters tall and more than 160 floors. The early integration of aerodynamic shaping and wind engineering considerations played a major role in the architectural massing and design of this residential tower, where mitigating and taming the dynamic wind effects was one of the most important design criteria. While the focus of this paper will be on the construction planning of the tower, this paper will briefly present an overview of the structural system of the towers design and construction, which are integrated from the early design concept.
the first major cable stayed bridge in Egypt and the Middle East, and the highest cable stayed bridge in the world,

The paper discusses the main aspects of design and construction of the Suez Canal Bridge. The bridge crosses over Suez Canal south of the Mediterranean Sea, with a Navigational Clearance of 70m. It will be a vital crossing to Sinai (particularly Northern part), which will help in the implementation of the Egyptian National Project of the Development of Sinai (NDPS), and will be an important link in the international Northern Coastal Highway, which connects the countries on the Mediterranean Sea in three continents: Africa, Asia, and Europe. The total length of the Suez Canal Bridge Project is 9 km, comprising about 4.1 km of bridges. The part over the Suez Canal is a Cable-Stayed bridge, with a main span of 404m. The bridge is built in cooperation with Japan. Summary The Suez Canal Bridge is the first major cable stayed in Egypt and the Middle East; when it was completed the bridge had the record of the highest cable stayed bridge in the world. It is used as a vital crossing to Sinai (particularly Northern part),which is aiding in the implementation of the Egyptian National Projet of the Development of Sinai(NDPS). In addition the bridge is an important link in the internation Northern Coastal Highway, which connects countries on the Mediterranean Sea in three continents:Africa,Asia, and Europe. The bridge was built in cooperation with Japan, The main contractor was Kajima corporation. End Summary Stages of the Project
