I AM

Those who preach the "trinity" have a plethora of scriptures they like to use
to "prove" the deity of Christ. If you attempt to debate with them on this
subject they will recite the same list of scriptures like some form of liturgy
they have learned from birth. None is more used, (or should I say
"abused") than the following two verses.

John 8:

58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham
was, I am.

AND

70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto
them, Ye say that I am.

Trinitarians love to quote the above two verses because they take the stand
that Christ was using a term that was only ever applied to God the Father.
Namely "I am that I am."

Exodus 3: 14

14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.

So, using the trinitarian logic it can now be proved that God appeared to
mankind in the form of a fleshly human being hundreds of times, (and
appeared as hundreds of different people).

The following is a complete list of EVERYONE in the scriptures who said of

trinitarian LOGIC and INTERPRETATORY METHOD in these passages in Isaiah and draw the same
conclusion about Isaiah that they draw about Christ. That Isaiah was DECLARING that he WAS GOD!

Acts 9: 10

10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision,
Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
NUMEROUS PEOPLE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT DECLARE THEY ARE "I AM"

Acts 18: 6

6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your
blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
Acts 20: 26

26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
Acts 21: 13 and 39

13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be
bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

39 But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I
beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.

Acts 22: 3

3I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the
feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous
toward God, as ye all are this day.

Acts 23: 6

6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the
council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the
dead I am called in question.

Acts 24: 21

21 Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the
dead I am called in question by you this day.
Acts 26: 2 and 7 and 25-26 and 29

2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all
the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:
7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which
hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

26 For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that
none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.

29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both
almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
Acts 27: 23

23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Acts 28: 20
20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the
hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
Romans 1: 14-16

14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one
that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Paul identifies himself as BOTH "I am" and also "a man" thus declaring that he too is a God/Man.

Romans 7: 14

14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Romans 7: 24

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Romans 8: 38

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor
things present, nor things to come,

Romans 11: 1 and 13

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of
Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Romans 15: 29

29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel
of Christ.

Romans 16: 19

19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I
would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
1 Corinthians 1: 12

12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of
Christ.

1 Corinthians 3: 4

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
1 Corinthians 9: 2

2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in
the Lord.

1 Corinthians 9: 22

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I
might by all means save some.

1 Corinthians 13: 1, 2, and 12

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as
sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I
have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I
know even as also I am known.
1 Corinthians 15: 9 and 10

(NOTE HERE PAUL SAYS of himself "I AM THAT I AM" or YHWH in Hebrew)

9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the
church of God.

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not
in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

1 Corinthians 16: 17

17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on
your part they have supplied.

2 Corinthians 7: 4 and 14

4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am
exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you
in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

2 Corinthians 10: 2

2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think
to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

2 Corinthians 11: 2, 23, and 29

2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may
present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes
above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
2 Corinthians 12: 10, 11, and 14

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for

Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

11 I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you:
for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek
not yours but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

2 Corinthians 13: 1

This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be
established.

Galatians 2: 20
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 4: 11,12, and 18

11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with
you.

Ephesians 6: 20

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Philippians 1: 17 and 23

17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Philippians 3: 12

12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may
apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4: 11, 12 and 18

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be
content.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am
instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent
from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

Colossians 1: 25

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you,
to fulfil the word of God;
Colossians 4: 3

3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of
Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
1 Timothy 1: 15

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save
sinners; of whom I am chief.
1 Timothy 2: 7

7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a
teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

2 Timoth 1: 5, 11, and 12

5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother
Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I
have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against
that day.

2 Timothy 4: 6

6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

2 Peter 1: 13

13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

The ANGEL who brought the Revelation to John declares that HE is "I
AM" and "The Almighty."
Revelation 1: 1

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must
shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Revelation 1: 8 and 11 and 17 and 18

(The angel sent to John declares the following):

8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and
which is to come, the Almighty.

11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and
send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos,
and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me,
Fear not; I am the first and the last:

THE ANGEL DECLARES THAT HE, THE I AM, THE LIVING GOD, WAS
DEAD!

18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have
the keys of hell and of death.

(Remember it was an ANGEL who actually uttered the above verses).

Revelation 2: 23

(The angel in Revelation utters more claims of deity)

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth
the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Revelation 19: 10

The ANGEL in Revelation contradicts himself, saying "I am" and "I am the Almighty" all through
Revelation but then stating that he is only a "fellow servant."

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant,
and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit
of prophecy.

Revelation 21: 6

The Angel again identifies himself as "Alpha and Omega"

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto
him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22: 9

The Angel in Revelation again contradicts himself, saying that he is "I am" but then saying he is
nothing but a "fellowservant"

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the
prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Revelation 22: 13

The Angel calls himself "Alpha and Omega" AGAIN!

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Revelation 22: 16

The Angel claims to be Jesus

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the
offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
