Objectives At the end of the lesson the students will be able to identify pairs of
angles in a parallel lines cut by a transversal line.

1. Focus and • Parallel Lines Cut by a Transversal Lines 5 min


Review
2. Statement • identify pairs of same side angle, alternate interior
of Objectives and exterior angles, corresponding angles
• find the measurement of pairs of same side angle,
alternate interior and exterior angles,
corresponding angles

3. Teacher • Review in class: 15 min


Input 1. adjacent angles
2. vertical angles
• Teach in class:
1. New vocabulary
a. alternate interior and exterior angles
b. same side and corresponding angles
2. measurement of adjacent angles as:
a. complementary
b. supplementary

4. Guided • Watch the videos for parallel lines cut by a 15 min


Practice transversal line and let the students answer the
extra problems for practice.
• The students will answer the self-assessment
provided in the website of
www.schoolmathprep.com

5. • Provide the students with extra problems on 20 min


Independent parallel lines cut by a transversal line.
Practice
6. Closure • Ticket- Outdoor-Activity: ask the students to list 5 min
down three terms they learned in the lesson and
define it on their own words.
