What is the main criteria that separates bands, tribes, chiefdoms, and states in the organization of societies? Why is it key to said organizing structure? 2. How is it that kleptocracy can be justified in society? Why dont the masses put a stop to it? 3. From where do states arise? What needs are being met by the creation of highly populated areas, and how do these areas maintain themselves? 4. Why can larger populations succeed in egalitarian societies, and vice versa, why can smaller populations succeed in kleptocratic societies? What allows each type of government/leadership method to be justified or successful?
