China biggest goods trading nation at $ 4.16 trillion in 2013
BEIJING, 2 Mar: Official figures show that China has surpassed the United
States to become the worlds largest goods trading country in 2013.
Chinas goods trade topped USD 4.16 trillion in 2013 overtaking that of the
US. The countrys exports totaled USD 2.21 trillion, while its imports stood at

Tell us some basic facts about yourself.
My name is Elisa Chan, daughter of Linda and David
Chan. My mom was born and raised in Burma, so we definitely enjoy Burmese food at my house. My favorites are
Mo Hin Ga and Lapatdo (tea leaf salad). So yummy!!!
I'm 24 years old, was born in Washington, D.C, and grew
up in South Dakota. I was the only Asian student in my
class from kindergarten to high school graduation. Despite
the fact that I was in the vast minority, I was the sole
recipient of the $10,000 Coca Cola scholarship in the
entire state. I also won the $10,000 AXA Achievement
Scholarship, which is awarded to only one student per
state as well. Both scholarships were based on scholastic
achievement, leadership, and community service. I attended college at the Washington University in St. Louis
and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I hold a Bachelor's
Degree in Biology and am currently pursuing further studies in the dental and oral health field. I'm also a Top Real
Estate Agent at O'Harmony Realty. I help clients buy, sell,
and manage rental properties here in Las Vegas.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I LOVE all forms of dance (Ballet, tap, jazz, Latin
ballroom, I especially adore Argentine Tango), Hot Yoga,
Zumba, and Reading
Tell us about your Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant
and your experiences .
My mom saw the ad looking for girls to apply for the
first ever in history, Miss Asian Las Vegas beauty pageant. So naturally, I wanted to showcase my talents and
celebrate my Asian heritage. I never imagined that I would
win three awards:

Miss Asian Las Vegas 1st Princess
It has been a fun and exciting adventure, and I've met
some of my best friends from this experience. It also got
me invited to the Miss Nevada USA competition, where I
was the only Asian delegate in the entire competition. I feel
so happy and honored to break a record by winning three
awards at Miss Nevada USA. I feel very proud that I had
the opportunity to make history again, and to represent
my Asian American culture well. "Miss Photogenic" "Miss
Congeniality" "Best Evening Gown"
Are you interested in Burma? Have you ever been
in Burma?
It is my dream to travel to Burma to see where my
mother grew up. I've heard many wonderful things about
Burma, and I'm so glad to see that Burma is becoming
more recognized at the international level. I'm very excited
to visit this cultural rich country in the near future!
Which your most favorite places in US?
Of course, Las Vegas!!! I love living here. We have a
little bit of everything, and attract tons of tourists all over
the world.
Do you like Burmese traditional outfits?
Yes! They are so feminine and classy. My mom has a
few sarongs that I love to wear at special occasions. I've
ordered a several sets of custom-made Burmese traditional
outfits from San Francisco that will arrive soon. I can't
wait to wear them!!
What is your goal in the future?
I will become a licensed dental professional and educate
people how to take control of their oral and overall health.
I will continue to do real estate. I'll continue to be leader
in my community by giving back, and serving in whatever
capacity I can. Hopefully, I'll be married by then...but who
knows exactly what the future holds? Life is an adventure
and I'm excited to live each day to the fullest!
What are your most favorite brands?
I don't have a favorite brand, however I consider three
things for any type of fashion:
