Changed Marketing Strategy and Company Policy because of Success of Competitors
1983- 22 million pair in Inventory 1984- earning dropped by 29% Running Shoes orders were off by 30% Reebok introduced Aerobics shoes with style and Variety and become superhit.

Market and Social trend went for stylish shoes. At that Stage Nike believed they were growing so they should keep doing what they were doing and in early 1985 it focused on style. -After that they focused more on style and focus on Performance and Quality decreased. - They tried to get profit from Volume sales, because of that also the Image of the Product had effect. -In top management they preferred person who has more experience on field instead of Management and Business.
