Reminders Please sign and return the envelope containing your child checklist. The checklist is yours to keep. Please let me know if you have any questions about your childs checklist. Spring Break is March 24th 28th. Louies Night is April 8th. The DRES Book Fair will be April 14th 18th.

What Were Learning

Reading: After Spring Break we will begin learning about long vowels. We will read and write words with the long a sound that follow the a_e spelling pattern. Language Arts: We will begin learning about describing words (adjectives). We will work on using adjectives correctly in sentences. Math: We will continue to learn about measurement. We will review length and begin measuring weight and volume. Science: We will begin learning about plants. We will plant seeds and observe how plants grow.

Homework: Please continue working on the March homework calendar and return it after Spring Break. A new homework calendar will be sent home on April 1 st.
