Gender Roles Discussion Rubric

4 Students contributions are relevant and reflective and serves as a leader in the group, prompting others to stay on task and/or elicits insight from peers. 3 Student is engaged and actively listens, contributing insight that is related to the literature. They offer positive contributions as a whole, verbally and nonverbally. 2 Student actively listens, occasionally offering insight that may relate to the literature. They are responsive to discussion group as a whole. 1 With prompts, student makes minimal contributions, either verbally or nonverbally. Insight is not always relevant and/or appropriate. 0 Student does not attempt to participate in discussion and does not send appropriate nonverbal cues to indicate involvement or awareness of discussion.
