Sherri Blix is a professional leadership coach who helps clients find fulfillment in their work and improve their performance. She believes in coaching the whole person - body, mind, and spirit - as each of these areas contributes to a full and effective life. Sherris coaching relationships are built on the premise that clients are naturally creative, resourceful, and capable of making the best choices. Her role is to serve as a catalyst for change and to make change stick. She helps clients set a compelling vision, live their values, prioritize meaningful goals, take action, and obtain improved results. Sherri has helped high-potential emerging leaders develop leadership capability, mid-level managers refine their management style, and individual contributors overcome challenges in a particular area of the job. Her collaborative process identifies the clients strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth and development, while cultivating in the client a deeper self-awareness. Sherri has spent over 15 years working in Organization Development. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communication from Northwestern University, a Masters degree in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago, and is currently working toward obtaining formal coaching certification from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI)/International Coach Federation (ICF). She has worked or consulted for companies such as the American Heart Association, Revlon, Deloitte Consulting, CCH/Wolters Kluwer, Stepan Company, and Beam Inc. In addition to coaching, Sherri facilitates classes on: communication, performance management, presentation skills, vision and strategy, motivation, change, and teamwork. Her expertise in the areas of facilitation, leadership and management are assets to her coaching practice. Sherri lives in Evanston with her husband and their 5-year old daughter. When not working, she practices yoga, enjoys cycling, and going to the theatre. For further information please feel free to contact Sherri at: SherriBlix@gmail.com or 773.308.4386.
