Spelling I do not send home words on a sheet in an effort to save paper. Your child will be writing them in his or her agenda every Monday. I will also include those in my newsletters. Your childs spelling words for this week are: suddenly crossways clockwise rather sideways home beautiful round lengthwise color completely constantly extremely has gradually Three times each is always due no later than Thursday morning. March is Reading Month Dont forget that read-a-thon money is due today so if you havent turned it in yet, please send it in with your child tomorrow. Hopefully your child has been reading at home every night and should continue this practice whether its reading month or not. By now, he or she should have 30 AR points. Camp Pinewood Your child should have brought home information about our last field trip. This was sent home in their agendas last Wednesday. This trip is on April 25th at the YMCA Camp Pinewood in Twin Lake, Michigan. We will be leaving at 8:15 and returning at around 8:30. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch. If you do not want your child to attend, please send me a note. You needed to let me know by today if you were interested in chaperoning. Tall Tales We celebrated our hard work by sharing our tall tales with the class. Thats the best part of the whole deal. They were proud to take part with sharing. Now they are hung up for all to see on our hall bulletin board.
