A juice detox is a very good way to nourish the body. A detox diets keeps both p hysically and mentally body healthy. But the fact is that it is not recommended for any long period of time. It may c ause lack of calories and fiber in our body. Juice detox is less filling than whole fruits and vegetables. Juice detox can leave out critical nutrients from our body which is needed to function properly. It may also result in electrolyte imbalance. It may also effect menstrual cycle. It is unnecessarily harsh and could cause prob lems. They include pregnant or nursing women, children, and people with anemia, eating disorders, diabetes, kidney disease, thyroid disease, autoimmune disease, cancer, terminal illness, c ertain genetic diseases, and other chronic conditions which are very harmful for our body. A juice detox is not good for pregnant and nursing mothers. It may have very bad effects on their body. It should not be allowed to diabetics person or patient wh o is suffering from respiratory diseases. It is often hard on the body if you ar e not getting adequate nutrients and calories. If you do not want any bad effects on your body then limit your juice detox to no more than two or three days. Try to drink su fficient amount of water so that dehydration may not occur. You may get several symptoms like weakness, irritability or exhaustion. Detox diet is dangerous for our body. The only weight you lose is the water weight, while taking juice detox. They can even do your body a lot of harm. Many important electrolytes may flush out that help your heart function and maintain fluid balance in your body. Most detox di eters regain their lost weight as soon as they go back on solid foods because th ey never learn how to maintain a healthy weight while eating real food and they suffer from many problems.
