understand that digits in a two-digit number represent the amount of tens and ones in a number and can use this knowledge to compare numbers using the symbols (<,>, and =), identify the amount of tens and ones in a number, write the number in expanded form, and be able to compose the number using drawings or manipulatives. CCSS.Mathematics.1.NBT.3 Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits, recording the results of comparisons with the symbols <, >, and =.

English Language Arts: The student, Miah, will read level E text with sufficient accuracy and fluency demonstrating purpose, understanding, expression, and use of reading strategies. The student will also demonstrate an understanding of syllables, sounds, and words by reading sight word list 2 with 100% accuracy. (Miah) The student, Zoei, will read level G text with sufficient accuracy and fluency demonstrating purpose, understanding, expression, and use of reading strategies. The student will also demonstrate an understanding of syllables, sounds, and words by reading sight word list 9 with 100% accuracy.
