To, Shri Ashok Gehlot The Honorable Chief Minister (Government of Rajasthan)

Sub: Non-Entitlement from the Widow Scholarship Scheme Sir, I, Rahul Khanna, S/O Late Ramesh Chandra Khanna want to inform you that I am studying in National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi. My father passed away on 8 December 2010 due to natural illness thereafter my mother was entitled to concern Government Scheme, the benefit of which she is yet to receive. When we first applied to concerned authority that is Samaj Kalyan Seva, Jodhpur they responded that we fall under the purview of a scheme exclusively made for widows children, mentioned above. Following this, we provided them with Bank details, Education details and all other concerned information. After that every time my mother was called to the department she was met only with procrastination and delay. The only explanation provided by them was that they do not have enough budgets. Moreover, they also baseless reasons such as the fact that I study in Ranchi to further antagonize us, even though I belong to Rajasthan & have backing domicile for it. My mother had to keep on visiting the department, but to no avail. She received the same reply every time. After that we wrote an application to District Magistrate and Additional District Magistrate with the same hope, which they sent to us with their stamp. They assured us that it will be soon worked out and if not, inquiry will be set upon this. My ultimate request is that we should be provided, as soon as possible, sufficient financial assistance so that I will be able to repay my next years college fees.

With Regards, Rahul Khanna Date 12-06-2013
