Child creation on Bubble Us will be marked by use of a checklist. Observation notes taken to record who is cooperating effectively.

Brainstorm the names of each state, the capital city and natural/human landmarks of each state using Bubble Us. This is to revise what we have learnt and refresh the students memories ready for the quiz. Students are put into groups of approximately 5 and are given time to decide on their animal buzzer (oink, moo, ba). Students watch the "Australian States and Territories Quiz YouTube clip on the projector screen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNU cSQWxDiw The teacher pauses the YouTube clip before the answer is given so that students can have a think about the question. Students go back to their computer and using Primary Pad, students write the following; 1. What they knew. 2. What they did not know. 3. What they found interesting.

What are the names of each state in Australia? What are the capital cities of each state? What are some examples of a natural landmark? What are some examples of human landmarks?

Access to a computer lab Projector screen to show YouTube video to the class. Students have to have access to a computer each for the use of Bubble Us
