Artists Statement Face of Existence series 01 (2 piece) The work titled Face of Existence consists of imagery collaged together as collective visual of the abandoned, the celebrated, and the misunderstood tangible existence. They comes with remnants of the old civilization that have gone through a natural cycle of evolution which lies along with the parade of progression (technology, culture, mentality etc). We as individualistic driven of modern society are often confuse with the pace of progression with the sign of evolution. Nevertheless we have been with the same kind of mentality even before Abraham Lincoln has ended the slavery culture. The justpox of the image of an old homeless man who reflect the impatience and the rushing of our latest generation. This is without the acknowledgement of the people around us, as we became drone. Through the interactive nature of my work, I strive to find out connection between the mind and soul; the moral value compass and how it is behaving to each impulse. Considering that the image of the man and the flock of birds over a set collectively. How can one intimately offered to see the changes that were expected if one of us fear being abandoned.
