Stress Management

The seminar was all about stress management wherein how we can manage the non-specific response of the body to any demand made upon it likely to be cause by role ambiguity, workload, working condition, time management, job security, barrier to ambition, promotion, policies, organizational structure, leadership behavior, group cohesion and etc. that may lead to short term stress or long term stress. Where we also have some reasons why we get long term stresses by experiencing too many stressful events in our lives than It isnt practical to recuperate after one, most of us do not know how to relax, attempts a t play are filled with pressure to perform.

The thing I have learned through the seminar was some bad news and good news. To mention few things in bad news are we cant sure stress by thinking or worrying about it, academic success and drive arent enough to make life manageable, no easy answers, simple solutions, or quick fixes for managing stress. For the good news are we can learn to understand why your life gets oppressive, depressive and stressed, we can learn to live in a new and better way. Also I have learned some tips to manage stresses which are smile, spirituality, sports, scheduling, speak to me, stress debriefing, socials, sounds and songs, stress reduction or relaxation exercises, siesta, self-awareness, and sensation techniques.

The recommendation in line with the seminar is the speaker should speak in English. The message he was trying to convey was perfect with good atmosphere, funny jokes, not making the listeners boring but since there are also foreigners I wish the speaker could speak in English rather that Filipino and Ilocano.
