Did not realize the students did not know how to multiply terms in a given polynomial or how to combine exponents

Analyze the Observation Data

Plus Teacher was prepared (work on the board for students to do when they walked into the room) Rewarded students who were on task with a raffle ticket Addressed common mistakes Constantly modeled how to solve Made real world connections Constantly walked around and helped students as needed Had students work problems out on the board after she checked problem for accuracy Delta Student engagement was low Students were released to work on their own too quickly No differentiation No assessment/end product
