Welcome! Welcome to my classroom! This year I hope to take a journey with all of you through the literature classics youll enjoy and learn from. I believe in teaching students valuable lessons that can be used to better society. Literature has the unique ability to unite social issues, history, and academic skills. In my class students will learn to harness those topics into constructive projects which will show-case their talents.
Children learn an average of 4,000 to 12,000 new words each year as a result of book reading. - Scholastic: Classroom Libraries Work!
A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading. -William Styron
