PEER MENTORING CODE OF CONDUCT So that the mentoring sessions are successful, both the mentor and mentee

must meet certain expectations and abide by certain rules, this will also ensure maximum productivity within the sessions. Attendance and punctuality are key to these sessions, this is important for both the mentors and mentees as registers will be taken every session. Mutual respect between mentors and mentees is needed as both are learning from the experience. Phones are to be switched off as not only can they can serve as a distraction but may also interfere with studio equipment. All coats and bag are to be left in the designated area and not brought into the studio. Remember all health and safety policies and follow the code of conduct implemented by the university. Food and drink are not to be consumed or even brought into the studio or gallery. Mentees should inform mentors if there is an issue they are concerned or unhappy with, likewise I understand that if Im dissatisfied with a mentoring session or the process as a whole then I can speak to the mentoring tutor about it.
