Michele is a wonderful part-time employee/intefn to have on staff. She brought fresh new ideas to our educational facility. She has worked within different age groups for short periods of time and was given many different tasks. While spending time in the age range ofPre-School to School-Age she was able to determine a more comfortable age for her to strive for. Michele was able to learn and begin to demonstrate effective classroom management. She has talen this experience very seriously and the responsibility in the development ofeach cbild socially, physically, emotionally and intllectually. When Michele was faced with difficult situations with the chilalren she was able to inquire what disciplinary action would be best in the given situation. She was able to demonstrate several positive reinforcement techniques in correcting a student's behavior. This was an area where she was able to help demonstaat and facilitate the importance oflife skills. The children Michele worked with enjoyed her interactions and activities. They seemed to be drawn to her when she was assisting in each classroom. She was able to ilevelop some close relationships with chil&en. Michele's experience has been an eye opening one. There are many expectations' of teachers no matter what the age of the children. Michele was shown how lesson planning worked and was able to understand hoyr to run a structurd classroom. Activiti6 are the key to a successfii of program. When children were in her care she was able to learn nany safety policies that helped her maintain a safe and caring atmosphere.
