The class will be divided into groups. Each group will be assigned one literary device. Each person in each group will be paired up with a partner. 1) Find, and read, the definition of your literary device on the web handout. If there is an example of your literary device, read it also. 2) With your partner, look at the books at your table. Pick one that interests you, and read it together. 3) Within each book, you will find examples of your literary device. Sometimes they are easy to find, and sometimes they are hidden. 4) If you find an example of your literary device you like, check with your instructor to see if it fits the definition on the web handout. 5) If your guess is right, each of you should create one of the posters, as described below:
