San Joaquin County Supervisors Bestolarides, Villapudua and Vogel Endorse James Mousalimas for County Superintendent of Schools
Majority of County Board of Supervisors endorsements adds to growing Mousalimas momentum

Stockton- James Mousalimas, current Deputy Superintendent of the San Joaquin County Office of Education, today announced that he has been endorsed by a majority of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. Endorsing James Mousalimas for County Superintendent of Schools are Supervisor Steve Bestolarides, Supervisor Carlos Villapudua and Supervisor Ken Vogel.

James Mousalimas is the only choice to become our next County Superintendent of Schools, said Supervisor Steve Bestolarides. James has the experience, leadership and broad based support to make sure that our local schools can graduate talented, work-force ready students. I'm voting for James Mousalimas on June 3rd, and I ask the residents of San Joaquin County to do the same." The Supervisors join a long and growing list of endorsers, including the San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association, the Stockton Police Officers Association and the Peace Officers Research Association of California, who are backing James Mousalimas on June 3rd. Along with being a long time county educator, James Mousalimas also sits on the board of the Community Partnership for Families and serves as Vice-Chair of the Measure S Oversight Committee. A former Peace Corps volunteer and graduate of UC Berkeley, the College of New Jersey and CSU Stanislaus, James is married to his wife of 24 years. Together they have three children, all of whom attended, or currently attend, local public schools.
