    EMERGENCY GENERATOR PROCEDURES

    MANUAL STARTING 01 Confirm the sump oil level and Fuel Oil Tank levels are normal. 02 Turn the mode selector switch (1) on the Emergency switchboard from AUTO to MANUAL position. 03 Press start button (6) on the controller panel to start the engine. 04 Check the voltage and frequency on the meter. 05 Let the emergency generator run for approx 45 sec, then press the GREEN BUTTON on the main circuit breaker to take on load to emergency bus bar. Note: If the Emergency generator fails to start due to low battery, then it can be started by manually by Hydraulic start.

    HYDRAULIC STARTING 01 Check the hydraulic tank oil level (7). 02 Fix the extension bar to the pump handle (8) and press up the accumulator up to 2500 psi. 03 Pull out a locking bolt of control valve (10). 04 Open the shut down valve knob (11) on the PT pump. 05 Push the control valve (12) to start the engine.
