1. What scenes incited the characters in the play? One scene was when Romeo was moping over how a cousin that he loved did not love him back and so when he meets Juliet hes forgotten about his cousin and instead focuss on Juliet. Also when Romeo thinks that Juliet is dead he takes the poison that he bought from an herbalist and kills himself, after Romeo dies Juliet sees that he is dead so she takes his dagger and stabs her self. 2. Why is Romeo so depressed and what happened to make Romeo change his mind? Romeo was depressed because a cousin that he loved did not love him back, but all that changed when he and Juliet fell in love. 3. What reason did the friar have for marrying Romeo and Juliet? He believed that if Romeo and Juliet were married then it would end the Family feud between Montagues and Capulets. 4. Why and how did Juliet kill herself at the end of the play? Explain the turn of events that lead to their undoing. After Romeo came to see if Juliet was really dead he killed himself with a poison he bought, so when Juliet wakes up to find Romeo dead she then takes his dagger and kills herself. 5. How did the two families react to the deaths? They are so distraught and sad, that they stop fighting and make peace with one another.
