Looking at your activity from last night, but without talking to your table-mates, write down the four shortcut postulates that prove whether t wo triangles are congruent

Proving Congruency:

Why dont the other ones work? Congruency vs. similarity shortcuts Having kids present the information for each one. Think about having kids answer forms before and after presentations to see what they have remembered better. ! -explain explain explain as opposed to just answering a question ! -having a notes sheet for them to ll in and refer to the next day

Teach the Class!


In groups of 4, you are going to teach the class about one of the six postulates that we investigated. You will have 5 minutes to plan and 5 minutes to share your lesson. Think of creative ways to make it memorable to the rest of your class! EXPLAIN as opposed to just tell.

If you have a postulate that does not work, need to give counterexamples for why they do not work to prove congruency
