5. A helicopter is flying at a height of 160m above a river. The pilot can see another helicopter on a pontoon along the river located at an angle of depression of 50. Find, to the nearest metre: a. The distance from the first helicopter to the second along the line of sight b. How far the helicopter must fly at the same altitude to be directly over the second

6. The retail price of a tyre is $125 and the cost price was $75. What was the percentage mark-up?

7. A store bought 5 mini stereo systems with a RRP of $850 each. The store first gets a trade discount of 40% and then an early payment discount of 5%. a. What is the total amount paid (with both discounts)? b. What is the overall percentage discount?

8. A car dealer values a trade-in at $8000 to help clinch a sale but can only get $6900 for it from a wholesale dealer. What is the percentage loss on the trade-in?
