Wear/Guide Ring
The function of a hydraulic wear ring is to guide the piston and piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder, absorbing transverse forces. At the same time, it prevents metal-to-metal contact, optimizing the performance of the sealing system.

Piston seals
Piston Seals are used in hydraulic cylinders for fluid sealing. They are internal to the cylinder head and seal against the cylinder bore, preventing fluid from flowing across the cylinder head. This allows pressure build up on one side of the piston, making the cylinder extend or retract.

Wiper Seal
Scrapers or Wipers are installed in the sealing configurations of hydraulic cylinders to scrape dirt, foreign particles, chips or moisture from the piston rods as they retract into the system. A hydraulic wiper or scraper prevents contamination of the hydraulic medium that could damage wear rings, seals and other components.

Back-up ring
A back-up ring is a rigid ring that holds an elastomeric seal to its designed shape and in its correct place. Back up rings are commonly used with O-rings, lip seals, and as reciprocating shaft seals.
