Alonso Salazar
Alonso Salazar was born in Atenas, Alajuela, but he currently lives in Alajuela Down Town near to Universidad Tcnica Nacional. In the present year he would be 33 years old. In 2005, he got a major as an English teacher in UCR. He has been working at UTN for 3 years. Since his childhood his family called him Nanito as a nickname; when he was a child, he had a chick as a pet, but when this chick grew up, his mom cooked it, so he cried, but at the same time he had to eat it because he was hungry. Alonsos mother never let him play soccer with his friends, that is why he had to play soap operas with his female friends.He considers his friends as his own family; besides that, he would like to adopt a baby someday, and have his own family. Alonso is the youngest of three brothers. Alonso has an excellent relation with his brother; in fact, his brother is the person that he admires the most.Alonso enjoys a lot his family parties because it is where Alonso gets his funniest moments. In school, he liked to study Social Studies and Spanish because he loves history, and grammar rules like punctuation and spelling; however, he never liked school; in fact, he only had one friend on the sixth grade. In high school, he was a fan of the Spice Girls; consequently, he bought their book and collected every article on the newspaper about them. The most memorable college moments were when hehad lunch time with his friends, and played pool with them. In his first year in the university, he began to study computer engineering, but he changed to English teaching; on his first semester a professor told him that he should quit the major, but he did not give up, and started to study more vocabulary, listened to music, and Alonso had the best grade. He decided to study English, for he always liked it, and he told why not combining English with teenagers that is why Alonso decided to start teaching. The first job that Mr. Salazar had was collecting coffee in a plantation near Pas, at the age of six years.Alonsos best job is working at the university. His worst job was working as a teacher in a private school.Alonso hopes to have his own business

In school, Alonso had the privilege of being a student of the professor Xinia Nagygeller and now Alonso and Xinia are co-workers; he thinks that Xinia has been his biggest influence. In terms of politics, Alonso admires Jos Maria Villalta because he thinks that he has better ideas than the others candidates, in one way that he agrees with these ideas. If he had the opportunity to change something in the current political atmosphere, he will abolish the corruption, and he will check that the house representatives really work and earn his salary. When Alonso mentioned about travelling abroad, he told about his experience in Mexico with his dance group; he performed in different places and cities, but he stayed in a house where people made him felt very happy like his home; this was the most memorable experience. One of his hobbies is to watch TV series; for example, Friends, the Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, and programs about interior design. His favorite hero is Batman because he is a super hero that does not have real powers. Alonsos favorite movie is The Devil Wears Prada; he told that he remembered every dialogue in the movie. He hopes that people remind him as the teacher who was a little bite crazy, but the most important thing for him it is to be remembered like a kind person.
