This skill is taught by skip-counting forward (+) or backward (-) and being able to state the rule: +5, -2, +10.

Two papers went home last Friday about our field trip to the El Paso Zoo on Friday, April 25th. I posted the information sheet on the class website too. You need to return:
1. The full page bus permission form---signed. 2. The cut-off part of the information sheet for the lunch count and chaperone info. 3. $6.oo for your childs admission fee

CCSS: 1.MD.3 Tell and write time in hours and half-hours using analog and digital clocks.

SCIENCE
We are continuing to study insects in our classroom. Through a grant from the LCPS Foundation, each of the First Grade classrooms also received live caterpillars for a butterfly life cycle study.
