CONSTRUCTING AND SIMULATING AN AC CIRCUIT: CONSTRUCTING AND SIMULATING A TRANSIENT CIRCUIT: To draw the simple ac circuit shown using Schematics:

1. Go to Start/ Programs/ Pspice Student/Schematics 2. Using the libraries and Part name, place one capacitor and one ac voltage source as shown in the circuit above. Note: choose VSIN. 3. To connect the parts, Go to Draw/Wire and start connecting the circuit. 4. You must have ground (reference terminal) for the circuit. Go to Draw/Get New Part/ in the Part Name type GND then place it at the bottom of the circuit. 5. Go to File/Save As/ and name it AC_Circuit. 6. To simulate Go to Analysis/Setup/ check Transient. 7. Click on Transient [ for Print Step: 0 , for Finale Time: 3ms] Click OK. 8. Close Analysis Setup.
