Stroynovatsiya to Renovate M-7 Highway


Stroynovatsiya, a subsidiary of the Summa Group, has won a tender to renovate the M-7 Volga highway worth 2.7 billion roubles. The Federal Highway Administration of the Volga-Vyatka Region ordered the highway to be expanded over a 11 350 km stretch of road. The highway runs between Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Ufa and will include upgrades between Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny. Each lane will be expanded to include two lane roads in each direction, which will be divided by a 6 meter wide median that will separate the traffic.
The reconstruction aims to be completed by the end of 2017 and will safely increase traffic on the M-7.

Summa News Mar 2014 United Grain Company Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with Marubeni Corporation & FESCO
Summa Group subsidiary, United Grain Company, (which is one of Russians five top grain exporters) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with FESCO and Marubeni Corporation. This March, Russian-Japanese investment forum representatives of the 3 businesses signed a memorandum that will increase the volume of Russian grain exports.
FESCO Vice president Mr Arkady Korostelyov, Managing Director and Board Member Mr Okada Daytsuke and Acting Director-General of the United Grain Company Mr Aram Ghukasyan signed the memorandum in Tokyo that will see 100 000 tons of grain exported from Far East and may increase to 5 million tons at a later stage.

Summa News Mar 2014 NCSP Group Appoints New CFO & Commercial Director
The Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group (NCSP), which falls under Summa Group, has appointed new executives. Alexey Knyazev is the new Deputy Director General for Finance and Economics and Andrey Garnukhin is the new Deputy Director General, Director of the Unified Commercial Directorate of the NCSP Group. The NCSP is the largest port operator in Russia and the third-largest cargo turnover port in Europe.
