What Is Worship?

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.

Worship is simply loving God.

Love the Lord Your God with all your heart. Matthew 22:37

God, I worship You with all my heart. I want to know You by reading Your Word, listening to You, going to church, and being willing to forgive others. Thank You for good teachers and help me to choose good friends. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Bless Pastor Ron and his family with strength and grace. Help me to look for ways to bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

Jesus was eating at Simons house. A woman, who was known for being sinful, came in and sat at Jesus feet. She opened a box of perfume and began to pour it on Jesus feet and wiped them with her hair. Simon did not like what she was doing but Jesus was pleased with her act of worship. He told her that her sins were forgiven. Jesus is pleased when we worship Him. Luke 7:36-50

Psalm 16:11 God,You will show me the path of life - in Your presence is fullness of joy.
