Living aboard a spacecraft charged with patrolling the Milky Way, a teenage girl must overcome her fears in order to rescue her friend and learn the truth about her past.

The novel takes place on board the Omega Centauri, a massive ship charged with patrolling the borders of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Conflict
Main Conflicts
Rees desire to live on Earth severely inhibits her from progressing on board the Omega. Ree is having nightmares that keep her from sleeping and she feels as though she needs to solve their mystery. Zac cannot pass his flight exam due to his arrogance and inability to listen to others. Zacs father holds unrealistic expectations and constantly compares him to his older brothers. Saya constantly tries to prove that shes better than Ree in all ways.

 End of CHAPTER 6 signals the end of normalcy for Ree and her mundane, unearthly existence. Change is coming

Start of Something New

Beginning of Chapter 8 is the start of Ree solving her conflict and coming to terms with her inner struggles. What happens in class? The library? With her father?

Climax
Zacs ship goes missing and Ree needs to decide if shes going to sit back or do something to save him.
