Will your hands be on deck?

inelands Upper Deck Youth Centre is this years recipient of the Many Hands Project a student driven renovation project that selects one not-for-profit organization to assist every year. This dropin youth centre provides opportunities to attend camp, one-day special events, weekly drop in nights and girls only nights. The renovations will allow for this aging building to receive necessary renovations. The renovations include a kitchen renovation, construction of two new bathrooms, installation of new tiling, concrete repair as well as the construction of a new storage shed and, will be completed by the Niagara Colleges Construction Studies students. The Many Hands committee invites everyone to come out and enjoy the five student fundraising event, as they are vital to the success of the overall project. Construction is scheduled to be complete this spring and will be celebrated with a Reveal Day event on Saturday April 12, 2014 where everyone is invited to attend and look at the newly renovated youth centre. A portion of this event include a gently used clothing sale, if you would like to donate any clothing please contact the Many Hands Committee.
