NOTE - Normal working conditions of pipes shall be operation of maximum 800 working hours per year at the pressure rating of the pipe and at a water temperature up to 3'OC. If these working conditions are exceeded the next higher class of pipe, that is, pipe witll. . . . wall thickness shall be chosen. With these woddng conditions the life expectancy of the pipe is 10 years.'
