As university supervisor for Mrs. Jordans candidate teaching experience, I have had multiple opportunities to closely observe, mentor, and evaluate Carin during the spring 2014 summative semester of her MAT program at Reinhardt University. Carin has consistently distinguished herself as a highly accomplished, energetic candidate teacher. During this semester I observed a range of Mrs. Jordans many strengths and talents-- her thoroughly-planned, standards-based lessons consistently differentiated so that all her students could experience success; her student-engaging, content-rich teacher read-alouds; some very creative, community-building sing-a-longs; so many hands-on, appropriately active learning adventurescountless opportunities for the rich, deep learning we wish for all our students. It is easy to see how Carin was able to build such a close rapport with her students and classroom stakeholders in so a short time.
