Supply chain and logistics

We performed a market research in Canada. Different wholesalers and distributors were approached and quotations were taken. The main city we are targeting is Toronto and one or two wholesalers are appointed for the distribution and storage of the products to various interior design stores and other handicraft outlets. The proprietors of those shops place orders with the main wholesaler and distributor and specified the required amounts. Physical distribution (logistics/SC) : We have a wide variety of products in our range and once these are produced, they are exported via air and then received by the clearing agent who is given a commission of 15% . The agent then delivers the consignment to the wholesaler who further distributes it to the retailers with whom they have an agreement.

Transportation: From the source country (Pakistan) the mode of transportation is air. Once the product reaches Canada the mode of transportation used is road transportation to reduce cost. Trucks will be used to carry the product to the retail outlets. Warehousing: If need be the product might be temporarily stored by the wholesaler. Documentation: once the order has been completed
