Profiles Critical Thinking Assessment

This is a timed assessment (60 minutes) in up to four parts. It may be administered in the traditional pen and paper manner, or on-line. Scoring and reporting is always done by computer. Part 1 - 20 Questions: Four situations are outlined and questions posed involving evaluative, inferential, analytic and inductive and deductive reasoning. Part 2 - 10 Questions: Inductive reasoning from words, numbers and shapes. Part 3 - 20 Problems (25 Questions): Problems are posed which involve the use of assumptions, strong and weak arguements, the development of conclusions and basic logic. Part 4 10 Text (10 Questions): The candidate is presented with several relatively complex paragraphs and asked to make logical conclusions. The report provides raw scores and percentile ranking for each of the areas measured namely: - Evaluative, analytic and inferential reasoning - Deductive and inductive reasoning - Logical reasoning - Reasoning and comprehension

The report notes the weighted average score and percentile ranking of the candidate for the management & Management Trainees.
